Dr. Ting-Fu Hsu is an Attending Physician in the Department of Radiology at Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH), affiliated with the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei, Taiwan. He earned his medical degree in 2016 and completed his residency in radiology at TSGH, where he gained expertise in diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology.
Dr. Hsu’s research spans both the imaging features of certain diseases and interventional radiology. In 2021, he published an Imaging Box in Internal Medicine titled “Features of Dynamic Computed Tomography Imaging of Glycogenic Hepatopathy”, which examined the dynamic CT characteristics of glycogenic hepatopathy. That same year, he authored a case report in the Journal of Radiological Science titled “Mediastinal Thymoma with Remote Endobronchial Metastasis”, highlighting a rare presentation of thymoma with distant metastasis.
In 2023, Dr. Hsu published an original article in the British Journal of Radiology titled “Drug-eluting beads loaded with irinotecan to treat synchronous liver-only metastases of colorectal cancer non-responsive to bevacizumab-based chemotherapy.” This study explored the trans-arterial chemo-embolization (TACE) treatment for challenging liver metastases cases.
Dr. Ting-Fu Hsu is also an active participant in major conferences, where he has delivered notable presentations. In 2020, he presented a case report titled “Adult Wilms’ Tumor: A Case Report” at the 69th Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Radiological Society. Two years later, in 2022, he delivered a presentation at The 9th Asian Congress of Abdominal Radiology (ACAR 2022), discussing “The role of Irinotecan drug-eluting beads in colorectal cancer with liver-only metastases refractory to Bevacizumab-based chemotherapy.”
In 2024, Dr. Hsu contributed to the 22nd Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR 2024), where he participated as an analyst in the Image Interpretation Session, showcasing his expertise in diagnostic ultrasound imaging analysis.
Committed to advancing patient care and medical knowledge, Dr. Hsu continues to contribute through clinical practice, research, and education.
