Luigi Grazioli

As a radiologist, Prof. Grazioli specialized in liver and pancreatic diseases in terms of diagnosis and interventional radiology, and main fields of interest has been the clinical application of MRI and CT in abdominal, gastrointestinal and urogenital diseases, also oncological imaging in abdomen -pelvis.

    Prof. Grazioli received his MD degree with full honours at the University of Brescia(Italy) in 1985 and currently chief of Radiology Department – Section 1 – Civic Hospital Brescia – University of Brescia (Italy).

    As a radiologist, Prof. Grazioli specialized in liver and pancreatic diseases in terms of diagnosis and interventional radiology, and main fields of interest has been the clinical application of MRI and CT in abdominal, gastrointestinal and urogenital diseases, also oncological imaging in abdomen -pelvis.

    He has collaborated in many research projects as either principal investigator or co-investigator. Many of these studies concern the clinical application of different contrast agents in liver MRI. He has authored many publications in both Italian (107) and International journals (63) abstracts excluded and is co-editor of the books “MRI of the Liver” (Springer Editor, Milan 2002), “MRI of the Liver”, Second Edition (Springer Editor, Milan 2006), and ”Imaging of urogenital diseases” (Springer Editor, Milan 2009).
