Hello! My name is Shine, and I’m currently a junior attending physician at Tri-Service General Hospital in Taipei, as well as a proud military doctor in the Republic of China Navy. I was born and raised in Taipei, and I graduated from Taipei First Girls’ High School, one of the most prestigious schools in the city. My journey into medicine has been both challenging and rewarding, filled with many unique experiences.
During my sophomore year in university, I had the opportunity to volunteer internationally in Cambodia, which deepened my desire to help those in need. The following year, I spent a summer at UC Berkeley studying Neuroscience, an experience that further enriched my medical knowledge. In my fifth year, I participated in an exchange program at Odense University Hospital in Denmark, where I interned in anesthesiology and gained hands-on experience in a different healthcare system.
I’m known for my cheerful and energetic personality. Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, especially now as I’m training for an upcoming triathlon. I also love to travel, and my favorite country is Turkey, with its incredible mix of history and culture.
I’m always ready to embrace new adventures, whether in medicine or in life!
