Associate Professor Kittipitch Bannangkoon, M.D., has been a distinguished member of the Faculty of Medicine at Prince of Songkla University (PSU) since 2008. He has dedicated his expertise to the interventional radiology unit at
Songklanagarind Hospital and has served as the Assistant Dean for External Relations and Special Activities within the faculty. A leading expert in interventional oncology in Thailand, Associate Professor Bannangkoon has pioneered advanced techniques such as ultraselective transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), navigation guidance software-assisted TACE, and locoregional therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients, along with innovative radiation protection methods. His scholarly work is well-recognized, featuring nearly 20 international publications primarily focused on chemoembolization.
