My name is Song-Ru Jhan, and I am from Taiwan. I have always been fascinated by medicine, which led me to pursue a career in the field of radiology. I completed my medical education at Kaohsiung Medical University, where I studied from 2008 to 2015. This foundational experience was instrumental in developing my passion for healthcare and deepening my understanding of the human body.
After graduation, I began my professional journey with an internship at Taichung Veterans General Hospital in 2014-2015. This experience helped me develop practical skills and a deeper understanding of patient care. In 2016, I continued my training with a residency, completing my post-graduate year at the same hospital. From 2017 to 2022, I further specialized by completing my residency in the Department of Radiology.
My professional career continued to evolve as I completed a fellowship of abdomen radiology and interventional radiology at Taichung Veterans General Hospital’s Department of Radiology. Currently, I serve as an Attending Physician in the Department of Radiology at Taitung Veterans Hospital where I apply my expertise in various diagnostic and interventional procedures.
My expertise focuses on abdominal radiology and interventional radiology, particularly image-guided tumor ablation and transcatheter arterial embolization. I am passionate about using advanced imaging techniques to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the ongoing progress in the field of interventional radiology.
